Revati Sharma Singh is an autodidact artist who mainly works with abstraction representing social subjects with assemblages of ceramic, cast metal, handmade silver, terracotta, tapestry, embroidery and paint. Central to her work, is exploring the nature of interaction within the human society.
Revati’s process explores the paradox of modern communication in today’s ever-changing world whilst combining bold colour, thick strokes and functional iconography in her modern-day impressionist style. Her pieces are arresting crossovers between paintings and installations, defining the scale of the concept she’s chosen. As an artist of conscience, Revati Sharma Singh steps away from the borders of nations to weave an inclusivity of existence based on simple human emotions that welcome the diversities of race, sex and language.
The artist lives and works in London, United Kingdom.
