Pravin Misal hails from a village in Konkan. He completed post-graduation in Visual Arts from JJ School of Art, Mumbai. 

Pravin reiterated his yester year memories filled with simplicity and innocence amongst the beauteous wonders of Mother Nature depicting the textural upheavals and seasonal transitions undergone by Earth due to climate change and the synonymous transformations experienced in the mindscape leaving indelible impressions on the sensitivities of his being within apt arenas. The abstract linearity and composed fields of colour show his personal struggle for survival in the metropolitan, iterated indirectly from his subconscious, have found a vital place in his work.
