SOUTH INDIA’S PREMIER FESTIVAL OF MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY ART
Art Chennai is the largest festival of modern and contemporary art in India. Instituted in the cultural city of Chennai, the event pans across the entire city with displays at various galleries, public spaces and at the finest hotels. It aims to bridge gaps between the general public, art collectors, historians, curators, critics, art entrepreneurs and art investors.
The mission of the festival is to increase the visibility of visual arts and to create historical content with context to Indian Contemporary Art.
Gallery Art & Soul was invited to be a part of the two-day exhibition, “Art Assemblage” – hosted at Hyatt Regency during the third edition of the festival. The gallery booth displayed Indian Artists housing a practice close to their country, culture and tradition.
