Palladium Hotel in association with PASSAGES presents PINK FILLY
a fund raiser project to support Breast Cancer Awareness in India
Mumbai’s most sought after luxury destination Palladium Hotel in association with Passages – an NGO that works towards creating awareness and supporting Breast Cancer Patients – presents its first ever art exhibit titled PINK FILLY. This is an exhibition of limited edition horse head sculptures, which will be showcased for a week from 19th January to 26th January, 2014 at the Palladium Hotel, Mumbai, setting the tone for future endeavours committed towards art, culture & special causes.
In a first of its kind art exhibit, PINK FILLY will be showcasing the spectacular limited edition collection of horse heads, designed especially by renowned sculptor Arzan Khambatta. The sculptures will be on view at strategic locations across the Palladium Hotel and will be open to public viewing. Produced in fiberglass, these resplendent sculptures have then been painted upon by 50 different Indian artists, in their individual signature styles. Artists such as Paresh Maity, Satish Gujral, Jatin Das, Jayasri Burman, Revati Sharma Singh and Satish Gupta are just some of the artists who have been part of this project.
The result is a much coveted, unique collection, which will not only add value to any art collection but also has the ability to support an important cause, as sale proceeds will be forwarded to Passages.
“The objective of this is to raise funds for the ‘Illness to Wellness’ program of PASSAGES Cancer Health Programme that will adopt patients under the guidance of oncologists, and will support them financially and emotionally through the entire duration of their treatment,” says Dr Tarana Khubchandani, founder PASSAGES
“We are happy to be associated with PASSAGES, and excited to offer a platform to showcase art through PINK FILLY while supporting a noble cause,” says Mrs Gayatri Ruia, Director Palladium Hotel
